BOESHIELD T-9® USES

Tool Care:

For long term metal protection during tool storage apply Boeshield T-9® by dip or spray method and allow to dry. Repeat once or twice per year depending on service and exposure. For short term corrosion inhibition and sliding lubrication spray on, wipe off excess, and allow two hours to dry:

Saw table tops
Planer joiner
Drill press
Mechanics tools
Garden tools
Blades and bits
Chisels
Hand tools
Shears
Snow shovels

On tools in daily use apply Boeshield T-9®, wipe off excess, and allow two hours to dry. Boeshield T-9® must be reapplied after use of tools to maintain corrosion inhibiting properties. Use Blade & Bit™ and Rust Free™ as necessary to clean tools prior to applying Boeshield T-9®.

Cycling:

For exterior use spray or drip on Boeshield T-9® , wipe off excess, and allow to dry for at least two hours (preferably over night). Spray or fog inside tubular frames. Do not apply to rims or brake surfaces. Penetrating protectant and lubricant displaces moisture. Dries to waxy film which will not attract dirt or dust and is waterproof:

Chains
Cables
Inside of tubular frames

Aircraft:

Coat the interior of wings, fuselage, tail, and control surfaces. Will not trap moisture. No sticky mess to attract dirt. Does not add significant weight to the airframe.

Very effective for rust proofing steel tubing on fabric covered aircraft. Should be tested on the exterior skin prior to application to ensure no degradation of the material or lap joints takes place.

Boeshield T-9® is applied during the annual when inspection covers are removed.
Reapplication is usually required in 3 to 5 years, depending on service and exposure.
One US gallon of liquid is more than sufficient for a typical single engine aircraft.
