Boeshield T-9® Technical Data:

Corrosion inhibition
Meets BSS7220 and FED-STD-791, Method 4001 (Max. 3 dots 1 mm per 10 square inches after 100 hours salt spray). Meets ASTM G-34 (Exfoliating test).

Water displacement ability
Meets MIL-C-16173D, Paragraph 46.11 No evidence of pitting, mottling, or staining.

Penetrability
Capillary height of rise 1.2” minimum in bore =0.015” at room temperature.

Wetability

30 dynes/cm

Flow
Viscosity is 6 centistokes at 75?1 F.

Adhesion at low temperature
Flaking less than 1/32” at -40 5K (MIL-0-16173D).

Removeability
Aliphatic Naptha, Cleaning solvent.

Solids
38%

Flash point
Approximately 160 F (71 C), (TCC).

Coverage
500 to 1000 sq.ft. per gallon.

Application temperature range
The aerosol form can be applied in temperatures ranging from +35°F to +100°F (+2°C to +38°C). The liquid form can be applied from 0°F to +100°F (-18°C to +38°C).

Warning
Very flammable. Poison. Aerosol contents under pressure. Contents may catch fire. Container may explode if heated. May irritate skin and eyes. Do not smoke. Do not puncture. Do not burn. Do not get in eyes. Do not get on skin or clothing. Do not swallow. Do not breathe fumes.

Use only in a well ventilated area. Keep away from flames, such as pilot lights, and any object that sparks, such as an electric motor. Store away from heat. Do not store at temperatures over 50°C (122°F), such as in vehicle in hot sun.

Wear rubber gloves, safety glasses.

Keep out of reach of children.

First Aid treatment
Contains petroleum distillates, Propane, Butane. If swallowed call a doctor or poison control centre immediately. DO NOT induce vomiting.
